Why this site exists
Every week a handful of new AI tools, models and apps launch. Most of them don't get honest coverage — review sites interview the founders, marketing blogs repost the press kit, and nobody tells you what real users are complaining about.
We do the boring part: read the conversations. Every tool page on this site is built from aggregated user feedback across Product Hunt launch threads, Hacker News discussions, Reddit and app store reviews. Quotes are cited, opinions are counted ("73% of commenters mentioned X"), and both the praise and the hate get airtime.
What we cover
- New AI tools — small and indie first, big launches second
- New models — when there's real user discussion (speed, price, quality)
- AI app updates — pricing changes, feature cuts, subscription drama users are actually reacting to
What we don't cover
- Tools with no real user conversations — launch-day hype only, no adoption signal
- Sponsored or paid placements (there are none)
- Numbers we can't verify — prices, dates and counts are checked against official sources before publishing
How pages are made
Scan → verify → aggregate → publish. A tool gets a page only when it clears three checks: it's new, people are actively searching for it, and real users are talking about it (complaints and all). Then we read the comments, sort them by what people keep repeating, and write it up with sources.
Questions, corrections, or a tool you think we missed? The site is run by a small independent editor (plus automation). Corrections are welcome — accuracy is the only thing this site sells.
